Liability Release

I hereby release Dykema, its officers, employees and agents, and any other people officially connected with this event, from any and all liability for damage to or loss of personal property, sickness or injury from whatever source, legal entanglements, imprisonment, death, or loss of money, which might occur while participating in this event. Specifically, I release Dykema from liability or responsibility for (my physical condition, and for the presence or actions of any other participants).

Cancellation Policy

In the event Dykema has to cancel or postpone the 2023 conference due to unforeseen COVID-related circumstances, registration payments will be rolled over to the rescheduled event.

Photograph & Video Release

I hereby authorize Dykema to publish photographs taken of me at the Dykema DSO conference at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center on July 19-21, 2023 for use in Dykema’s print, online and video-based marketing materials, as well as other Company publications.

I hereby release and hold harmless Dykema from any reasonable expectation of privacy or confidentiality associated with the images specified above. I understand that participation in this event is strictly voluntary and I freely choose to participate. I will not receive financial compensation for photo usage. I acknowledge and agree that publication of said photos confers no rights of ownership or royalties whatsoever.

Sharing Personal Data

Dykema will only share personal data with others when we are legally permitted to do so. When we share personal data with others, we put contractual arrangements and security mechanisms in place to protect the personal data shared and to comply with our data protection, confidentiality and security standards and obligations.

Sharing with other third parties: Occasionally we may receive requests from third parties with authority to obtain disclosure of personal data, such as to check that we are complying with applicable law and regulation, to investigate an alleged crime, or to establish, exercise or defend legal rights. We will only fulfil requests for personal data where we are permitted to do so in accordance with applicable law or regulation.

Marketing: From time to time, we may send you firm, practice group or event announcements that we think you may be of benefit to you. You have the right at any time to opt out from receiving any marketing information at any time by selecting Opt-Out in our emails.
