Thomas Passalacqua
Thomas Passalacqua has been the Director of Business Development at The Smilist Management since 2021. Having a diverse background, with a masters degree in education, he started his career as a teacher in New York City. Being a founding faculty member in numerous of New York’s premier charter schools, Thomas was an accomplished educator and pioneered many school-wide programs and curriculums. Transitioning into dental in 2016, Thomas was a top tier sales rep for Voco America, a leading dental restorative company in the New York City territory. Quickly achieving success in this role, he earned President’s Club status and started to train and coach other sales reps on best practices and strategies. Transitioning again now into the DSO realm, Thomas utilized his skills to lead sales and marketing for The Smilist’s new acquisitions, focusing his resources on sourcing and prequalifying opportunities for new partnerships. The Smilist recently hit their 10 year anniversary and manages more than 70 practices in the northeast. Their goal is to become the most respected dental group in the region, and mission is to make lives better one smile at a time.
