A Discussion with Joe Cavaretta, President, Dental Whale®
Joe Cavaretta has been with Dental Whale since 2019 and has 23 years of industry experience including 17 years working for Henry Schein in several different leadership positions. Joe is an expert in the dental industry and has a demonstrated history of results. Among his roles, Joe was the first Director of Sales for Henry Schein in the dental division. He continued to move up the ranks within the company before becoming Area Vice President for the company’s Western Area, where he was responsible for more than $1 billion in sales, while managing 1,000 Team Schein members. He then moved to the Eastern Area to create a similar culture to the successful one he had cultivated in his previous position.

A Discussion with Dr. Ryan Hungate, CEO & Founder of Simplifeye
Dr. Ryan Hungate is a practicing orthodontist and the founder/CEO of Simplifeye, Inc. Prior to going into dentistry, Ryan worked for Apple, Inc. designing the Apple retail workflow with industry veteran and Apple SVP, Ron Johnson. Ryan is now creating new ways to implement innovative live chat technology that allows doctors to schedule more new patients and even hold instant tele-health visits. He is also using modern payment infrastructure to reduce overhead and bad debt.

A Discussion with Eva Sadej, CEO & Founder of Floss Bar
Eva comes from a small town in Poland and the mean streets of Brooklyn. After graduating from Harvard in 2012, Eva worked for Bridgewater Associates, the largest hedge fund in the world. Eva dreamed up Floss Bar when she noticed how complicated it was to get a basic dental care without taking 3 hours off of work or getting offered multiple extra services. Upon further research, she realized that over 80% of Americans have gingivitis, and that the rates of those with preventable dental emergencies was consistently rising. In 2018, Eva put her Wharton MBA on hold to build Floss Bar into a household name. Eva’s goal is to improve the expedience, cost, and accessibility of health and beauty services – making others both internally and externally beautiful.

A Discussion with Korey Korfiatis, Co-CEO & Co-Founder of Legwork
Korey is an accomplished speaker and writer on the subjects of dental marketing and brand strategy and holds multiple awards for his work. During his career, Korey has helped start, re-brand, transition and promote thousands of dental practices across the country. Much of his career has been spent intensely researching dental consumer behavior and communication techniques that inspire purchasing decisions and brand loyal patients, including in his role as co-founder and CEO of Legwork Software and President of O’keefe Korfiatis Consulting Group, where Korey has worked for over a decade strategizing, designing and promoting award-winning brands for dental practices across the nation.

A Discussion with Rand Schulman, Chairman & CEO of DMscore
Rand is one of the pioneers of digital analytics, taking several companies public. Rand was the CEO/ founder of the first SaaS-based web-analytics company (acquired by Yahoo!) and is the founding executive of WebSideStory through their IPO, which is now Adobe Analytics. He has been a director and executive officer of numerous other data & digital intelligence companies including UNICA/IBM, and is a co-founder of the Digital Analytics Association and teaches graduate analytics at several universities.

A Discussion with Founder and CEO Dmitry Tuzoff and Chief Dental Officer Eric Pulver of Denti.AI
Dmitry Tuzoff is the Founder and CEO of Denti.AI, a cloud service that helps dentists interpret X-ray images using artificial intelligence. He is a PhD researcher in deep learning, and was a keynote speaker in 2018-2019 at the yearly International Dentomaxillofacial Radiology conferences. Dmitry has co-founded three fast-growing companies, including Denti.AI, all of which have brought over $15M in revenue. Dmitry has also served as Country Director for Huawei Software where he managed hundreds of engineers and closed multi-million dollar sales deals.
Dr. L. Eric Pulver is Denti.AI’s Chief Dental Officer. Eric comes from a long line of dentists – His father was a Pediatric Dentist and his uncle is an Endodontist. He’s a dual citizen (Canadian – American), living in Chicago. Eric graduated from the University of Toronto in 1989, trained as a General Practice Resident at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto, and then moved to Chicago and trained in Oral Surgery at Northwestern Dental School. He was an assistant professor at Northwestern and then became the Director of Oral Surgery at the University of Chicago Hospitals. His interest in technology and innovation led him to become involved and exposed to start ups at several incubators in Chicago. Being exposed to Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence led Eric to his current role as Chief Dental Officer in Denti.AI.
